City Facts

Rome is extremely beautiful city. This is the second time when im visiting the city. As many times you visit the city everytime you'll feel that there is something new in store for you. This time i planned to visit the museums in the city as last time when i came i couldnt manage to visit all the museums in the city. So for this purpose i booked a room in hotels Rome which is nearby this area. I just saw vatican that time but this time i wanted to see as many museums in the city. Rome is a glorious architectural patchwork, a living masterpiece, sedate yet chaotic, full of charm and life. During my stay in the hotels Rome i enjoyed the lavish dinner and the famous wines.

Its warm Mediterranean climate renders Rome particularly balmy in autumn and spring. In August, it is hot and sticky, locals head for the coast and many shops and bars close, but this is also prime time for the city's festivals. I enjoyed my stay in one of the city's best hotels Rome , it is located close to the famous museums in the city. Renaissance riches are concentrated within the centro storico (historic centre), where the stadium-sized Piazza Navona, sweepingly romantic Spanish Steps, and the Trevi Fountain all lie within walking distance of each other. Across the river, to the west, lies the Vatican State - home to the Pope, the spiritual centre of the Roman Catholic Church, and the Sistine Chapel. If you are visiting to Rome then you should visit the world famous museums in the city.

Cuisines in Rome

Picture

I was also fascinated by the local italian dishes. This time when i was in the city i tried maximum dishes. Even while staying in hotel Tempio Di Pallade in Rome i tried and enjoyed the savour of many delicious cuisines. Rome's cuisine has evolved through centuries and periods of social, cultural, and political changes. Rome became a major gastronomical centre during Ancient Rome. Ancient Roman cuisine was highly influenced by Ancient Greek culture, and after, the empire's enormous expansion exposed Romans to many new, provincial culinary habits and cooking techniques. Some of the museums are nearby the famous restaurants in the city. This city offers the best Italian dishes. In the beginning, the differences between social classes were not very great, but disparities developed with the empire's growth. Later, during the Renaissance, Rome became well-known as a centre of high-cuisine, since some of the best chefs of the time, worked for the popes.

Museums in Rome

Picture

The world famous museums in Rome are located near the main city center. These museums are famous in whole world. My hotels Rome was located near the famous museums in the city. Rome as itself is the greatist open-air museum in Europe. However, besides ancient ruins and stunning architecture it offers a wide choice of museums and art galleries filled with paintings and sculptures of the Renaissance and the Baroque. Maximum information regarding the museums in the city i got from the hotel Ariston Rome wherein i stayed. The most famous museums in the city are Vatican Museums houses their fabulous masterpieces in palaces originally built for Renaissance popes such as Julius II, Innocent VIII and Sixtus IV. Most of the later addition were made in the 18th century, when priceless works of art accumulated by earlier popes were firts put on show. Vatican Museum is home to the Sistine Chapel and Raphael Rooms as well as to one of the world's most important art collections. Capitoline Museum - Splendid copies of Greek and Roman sculptures has been kept on the Capitoline Hill since 15th century. All master pieces are now housed in two palaces designed by Michelangelo.

Rome's National Museum at the Baths of Diocletian in the Modern Center has a vast archaeological collection as does the national museum at Palazzo Altemps, close to Piazza Navona. Further afield, the Museo di Civilta Romana (Museum of Rome's Civilization), in EUR is most famous for an enormous model of Imperial Rome, but also has an extensive display of plaster casts, models and reconstructions of statues and Roman stonework. I also noticed hotels Rome , it is situated nearby this area and in looks it seems like the royal one. If you have plenty of time there is absolutely no shortage of other museums covering a wide variety of interests. Examples include the Museum of the Walls (see Rome/South), the Musical Instrument Museum and a museum devoted to the liberation of Rome from German occupation in the Second World War (Rome/Esquilino-San Giovanni). After visiting to all the museums in the city i came back to my hotel Scheppers Rome and relaxed so that next day i could visit some more attractions in the city.

Night life in Rome

Picture

After visiting to World famous museums in Rome, i decided to enjoy the night life in Rome. So after relaxing in the room, in evening i left my hotels Rome to enjoy the night life in the city. The wine bars and cafes around Piazza Navona and Via della Pace tend to be the chicest, while there's a busy scene around Campo de Fiori, with a more trashy vibe. While Rome's hardly the gay capital of Europe, there's a small gay scene, with some saunas and clubs, and many nightclubs have weekly gay nights. With all this glittery days and nights i really enjoyed my pleasant stay in the city which houses the world famous museums. So it was the end of my trip and went back to my country with all the sweet memories from the city.
